ECHS intends to rehabilitate the bed ridden Ex-servicemen who needs treatment. Also ECHS protect the ex-servicemen who are suffering from Cancer, other incurable diseases, handicapped and Paralyze persons.

For implementation of the above scheme, BETHESDA CHARITABLE TRUST, PUTHUR, has started a Centre for ECHS namely BETHESDA REHABILITATION/PALLIATIVE TERMINAL CENTRE at PUTHUR, THRISSUR under the control of the Managing Trusty Dr. Thresia Dias PhD (Philanthropist). This Centre has 40 rooms and can accommodate about 100 patients in the preliminary stage.
